Wisconsin TechSearch is the information outreach program of the Wendt Library. TechSearch will retrieve information for you from the Miles collection.

Searching the Database

Directions - From the Wendt Library Home Page:

  1. Click on Books/Information Resources (locataed along left-hand margin)
  2. Open the Select ---> box and click on Special Collections at Wendt Library
  3. Click on the Lawrence D. Miles Value Engineering Reference Center link (toward the bottom of the page)
  4. Search the Miles Papers database by subject, author, year, document type or "all fields" - including title, if applicable, and "contents", a field providing a brief description of the document. If searching for a particular subject, choose the 'closest fit' from the following drop-down list of pre-assigned subject words:

The field "document type" refers to the variety of archival material contained in the personal papers of L.D. Miles. Document types are limited to the following:
